Fueled by a childhood desire to becoming a ninja turtle, Danny embarked on his martial arts journey at age 10. Danny received a black belt in Taekwondo and had notable achievements, including two state championships and a 3rd place in Junior Nationals. At age 16, Danny began training in boxing. He quickly fell in love with the sport and competed in the Golden Gloves, Diamond Gloves, and the LBC state championships. Soon thereafter, Danny began training in MMA and ultimately obtained a black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu. Danny’s MMA career boasts 20 fights. Overcoming a severe knee injury in 2014, propelled him into coaching. Danny coached former UFC Heavyweight Champion Ricco Rodriguez to victory in the first-ever bare-knuckle boxing championship main event and has left his mark internationally, coaching in places like India, Slovenia, Austria, and Abu Dhabi he has also coached multiple times in the UFC .
